My Labubu Obsession: An Unboxing Adventure

Hi everyone! For those who don't know me, I'm James Welsh, a YouTuber who usually focuses on skincare. However, lately I've become completely obsessed with Pop Mart blind boxes, especially the adorable Labubu. My collection has grown quite a bit, and today I'm excited to share some new additions with you all.

Unboxing My LaBooBoo Obsession: Authentic vs. Fake & Prada Outfits!

The Hunt for Authenticity: A StockX Scare

I started my unboxing with the Have a Seat Labubu series. I initially purchased one from StockX, drawn to their verification process. Sadly, it turned out to be a fake! I was so disappointed.

Since then I have been buying blind boxes from official stores, such as the Pop Mart Ali Express and Whoopi. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of buying from trusted sources.

Unboxing the Have a Seat Series: A Secret Revealed!

I had two Have a Seat boxes to open, hoping to finally get a secret figure. The new Pop Mart boxes are a bit tougher to open, but it keeps them nice for display. Right away, I could tell the quality was significantly different from the fake one I received. The plush felt much more luxurious, and the details were sharper.

My first pull was CC, which I was very happy with. The second one I opened was HEI. Then came the moment I had been waiting for: I pulled a SECRET! I got the Duo which is brown and has a little red nose, I was so excited! It was such a rush, and the quality difference was immediately apparent.

Out of curiosity, I opened a few more of the Have a Seat series. I pulled Baba, Chi-Chi, and then a ZZ. In the end, I managed to get a full set of the collection which I was very happy with. I will be giving the duplicates away to friends and family.

Coca-Cola Labubu: A Touch of Christmas?

Next up was the Coca-Cola series. I wasn't initially drawn to this collection, but my completionist tendencies kicked in. I was hoping for the standing figure but definitely not the secret one, which I think is really ugly. Luckily, I pulled the standing up version, and I actually found it quite cute, even if it does have a slightly Christmas-y vibe. The details, like the slanted Coca-Cola logo, were a nice touch.

Beyond Blind Boxes: Plush Toys and Fashionable Finds

I also unboxed the Monsters Time to Chill plush toy, which I verified for authenticity using the QR code. It's incredibly soft, and I love the shifty-looking eyes.

Finally, I had to dress up one of my Labubu. Woopi sell outfits, so I got my Labubu a full fake Prada outfit! It includes a backpack, dungarees, a hat, and shoes. It's absolutely adorable, although I'm now worried about it getting stolen off my bag!

Final Thoughts: Join the Labubu Fun!

Opening these blind boxes is so much fun, and I'm officially addicted! I hope you enjoyed joining me on this unboxing adventure. If you have any recommendations for other blind box characters or series you think I'd like, let me know in the comments below. Don't forget to subscribe for more unboxing videos soon!

Where to Buy Authentic Labubu:

How to Spot a Fake Labubu:

  • Quality: Authentic figures have superior plush, sharper details, and better construction.
  • Packaging: Authentic figures feel different from The fakes, also you should be able to scan a QR code which will verify it.

I'm definitely looking forward to expanding my collection even further. See you in the next unboxing!
