Unlock the Cutest Collectible Adventure: Unboxing Labubu 'Have a Seat' Plushies

Hey everyone! ABY here, and today we're diving into the world of adorable collectibles with the unboxing of the Labubu 'Have a Seat' plushie blind boxes! These little guys are incredibly popular, and getting my hands on a full set was quite the adventure.

I actually had to win a lottery just for the privilege of buying them – can you believe it? After winning, I then had to travel all the way to Tokyo to pick them up.

The Labubu Lottery Experience

For months, I've been entering the Labubu lottery, hoping to score a chance to purchase these and other series like the macarons.

Finally, my persistence paid off, and I won the opportunity to buy the 'Have a Seat' collection. The journey these little guys have taken is quite impressive. From their origin factory in China to Japan, and soon, they'll be hopping over to Singapore. Talk about world travelers!

Meet the Characters

Each Labubu in this series has a unique name: CeCe, Daada, Zzy, Baba, and ChuChu (or is it QQ?). It’s hard to pick a favorite! The open-eyed ones are incredibly cute, but those scrunchy-faced Labubus are just too adorable. And the biggest question of all: is there a secret one hiding in this set?

First Impressions

This is only the second time I’ve seen a Labubu plush in person. My friend Mamer has one, and they’re irresistibly cute. The first one I opened was Dada. Each plush comes with a little strap and clasp, making them perfect for attaching to bags or keys. They're also incredibly soft, which is a huge plus.

It’s worth noting that these plushies, with their soft bodies and plastic faces, are part of a growing trend in the collectible world. I’ve seen similar designs with other characters like the Smiski and Emma, and they’re all equally charming.

Unboxing Highlights

  • He/He: This gray, scrunchy-faced Labubu has posable arms! You can make them hold things or even give you a hug. How cute is that?
  • Zzy: The lilac, sleepy-faced Labubu has a head that swivels! This one could easily attach to a bag like a little koala.
  • ChuChu: A minty green Labubu with captivating eyes. While I wish it was a bit more blue-minty to match the purple one, it still gives off major Gelatoni vibes.
  • CeCe: This sleepy-faced Labubu reminds me of the Usao plush from Disney.
  • Baba: Sporting adorable eyes and an undeniably soft texture.

Favorite Features

It's tough to choose, but I think my favorite face is the open-eyed one. However, the lilac one is definitely my favorite color, and the gray one is undeniably charming.

The Hunt for the Secret One

With each unboxing, the anticipation grew. Would I find the secret Labubu? Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be this time. But that's part of the fun of blind boxes, right?

Final Thoughts

These 'Have a Seat' Labubus are undeniably cute, even if they don't sit up on their own very well. Maybe that's why people display them in cases or attach them to their bags. The swiveling head is a fun feature, allowing for some creative posing.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my first Labubu unboxing experience. I'm excited to see what new plushes and figures they come out with in the future.
